Lawler Waltz Cabin (ADA Accessible)
Walt’s Cabin is situated within the historic Lawler Lodge property, approximately 9 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation of 5,300 feet. Reconstructed on the footprint of the original caretaker’s cabin, the approximately 741-square-foot cabin combines the rustic character of the property with modern comforts and accessibility improvements.
Walt’s Cabin accommodates up to 6 guests and includes one queen bed (private bed room), two twin bunk beds, and one queen sleeper sofa. The cabin also features a dinning area, sitting area, and restroom/shower, and full kitchen equipped with refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, oven, sink, air fryer, blender, toaster, and Keurig, along with a private accessible restroom, heating, polished concrete flooring and a historic masonry fireplace incorporated into the reconstructed building.

Lawler Alpine Cabins
Lawler Alpine Cabins is situated 9 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation 5,300 feet. This is a reservation-only group camping facility ideal for hosting any group camping retreat or event. Open year-round, the cabins can accommodate up to 60 people.
Lawler Alpine Cabins has six** cabins with bunks that can house up to 10 people each. The compound has a commercial kitchen, community room, and stand alone restrooms and showers. A modest sized field is located nearby where tent camping, outdoor activities, or games can be conducted. Firewood is available with advanced notice to the Ranger for $8 per bundle.
**Please note: Five cabins are currently available, as the sixth cabin is under construction. Additional mattresses can be provided in the available cabins to accommodate extra guests.

Rancho Jurupa Cabins
The Cabins at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park offer a pristine park setting with two 3-acre lakes surrounded by mature cottonwood trees and expansive meadows. Located along the Santa Ana River just west of Riverside, with Mount Rubidoux providing a beautiful backdrop for guests to enjoy. Amenities include a newly remodeled splash pad, along with a mini-golf course, disc golf, and a rock climbing playground. Guests can enjoy staying at one of the five fully equipped rental cabins at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park which accommodate up to four guests (sorry, no pets allowed), including an accessible cabin. Cabins at Rancho Jurupa are located within one mile of scenic downtown Riverside offering a range of attractions and activities including the historic Mission Inn. This is a great option for guests who prefer luxury camping with beds and a private bathroom.

Lawler Lodge - CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION
Lawler Lodge was built in 1918 and is situated 8 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation of 5,300 feet. This is a reservation-only group camping facility ideal for hosting any group camping retreat or event. Open year-round, Lawler Lodge with Annex can accommodate 58 persons with the bunks provided. Set amid the beautiful San Jacinto mountain landscape, Lawler Lodge has restrooms, showers, fireplace, commercial kitchen and a large deck overlooking the San Jacinto River. Firewood can be obtained with advanced notice to the Ranger for $8 per bundle.
