Don Williamson spent over forty years in the grocery industry. He worked in various administrative capacities, traveling daily throughout Southern California. Don retired in 2011 and became active in his community, appointed by the Corona City Council to two terms on the Corona Library Board of Trustees. He has served two terms (eight years) on the Riverside County Historical Commission and is currently on his third term, as appointed by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors.  Don has been an active member of the Corona Chamber of Commerce and in 2020 was the organization’s Chairman of the Board of Directors. In 2015, Don founded the non-profit Corona History Association with the goal of ensuring a factual representation of the city’s past. He has also written many articles on various topics of local interest, co-authored a book about the history of the Corona-Norco Unified School District and continues to provide frequent presentations to schools and organizations about his beloved “Circle City” Corona, California.
