Lawler Alpine Cabins

Lawler Alpine Cabins is situated 9 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation 5,300 feet. This is a reservation-only group camping facility ideal for hosting any group camping retreat or event. Open year-round, the cabins can accommodate up to 60 people (sorry, no pets allowed). ​Lawler Alpine Cabins has six cabins with bunks that can house up to 10 people each. The compound has a commercial kitchen, community room, and stand alone restrooms and showers. A modest sized field is located nearby where tent camping, outdoor activities, or games can be conducted. Firewood is available with advanced notice to the Ranger for $8 per bundle.

Fire Restrictions Notice – Effective July 7, 2025. Due to fire risk, all open fires are prohibited. This includes the use of briquettes. Propane fires and/or propane BBQ's are allowed under these restrictions. Please adhere to these rules to ensure safety and prevent wildfires. Thank you for your cooperation.

Lawler Lodge

Lawler Lodge was built in 1918 and is situated 8 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation of 5,300 feet. This is a reservation-only group camping facility ideal for hosting any group camping retreat or event (sorry, no pets allowed). Open year-round, Lawler Lodge with Annex can accommodate 58 persons with the bunks provided. Set amid the beautiful San Jacinto mountain landscape, Lawler Lodge has restrooms, showers, fireplace, commercial kitchen and a large deck overlooking the San Jacinto River. Firewood can be obtained with advanced notice to the Ranger for $8 per bundle.

Rancho Jurupa Cabins

The Cabins at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park offer a pristine park setting with two 3-acre lakes surrounded by mature cottonwood trees and expansive meadows. Located along the Santa Ana River just west of Riverside, with Mount Rubidoux providing a beautiful backdrop for guests to enjoy. Amenities include a newly remodeled splash pad, along with a mini-golf course, disc golf, and a rock climbing playground. Guest can enjoy staying at one of fully equipped rental cabins at Rancho Jurupa Regional Park which accommodate up to four guests (sorry, no pets allowed). A handicap cabin is available. Cabins at Rancho Jurupa are located within one mile of scenic downtown Riverside offering a range of attractions and activities including the historic Mission Inn. This is a great option for guests who prefer luxury camping with beds and a private bathroom.
